Although I usually play other people's songs, occasionally I write my own
whenever inspiration hits me. I wrote this song back in 2020 during
the pandemic, and have been wanting to record a demo for some time.
Finally, in May of 2024, I drove down to Virginia to record the song
with my talented musician friend Kim Taulbee. We knocked it out over
a long weekend, and then he brought in some local talent to record
the electric guitar licks and BGVs. After multiple mixes and feedback
from me, the song was finally completed in late August of 2024. I've
had it copyrighted, and am eagerly awaiting to hear from any popular
male country singer that wishes to cover my song on their next album :)
I have published this song on various music-streaming services
(Spotify,
YouTube,
Pandora, etc.) under the pseudonym of Keith Lynwood.
