The First Forty Years

June 26, 2004 -- a retrospective by Jeff Johnson

Recently, Kevin L. Suffecool's beloved mother approached me with a singular request. She inquired if I could share some photographs and memories of my time with her son.

Of course, I was honored, since a man such as Kevin L. Suffecool comes around but once in a millennia. Most men are counted lucky if they even get to speak with Mr. Suffecool or perhaps shake his hand, but I am proud to be able to call him a friend.

I'm afraid that my humble tribute within these pages will only be able to scratch the surface of his many achievements. Join me now as I retrace some of the highlights of his first forty years.
